We can’t quite believe that the year has gone so quickly! Helping more clients than ever before to engage with their customers, prospects and channel partners, has meant this year has flown by! Over the course of 2014, we’ve welcomed five new members to the OE fold, Susi Golding, Marie Bouilhet and Scarlett Carroll to the burgeoning events team, Sam Patel joined our accounts department and Sophie Grant has come back to the fold working with registration, data and analytics.
What’s more 2015 is looking even more exciting with the diary booking up for the first half of the year. In fact, January sees Milan welcome Cisco Live EMEA for the second year. With seven of our clients exhibiting, Directors Alex and Denise will be there too, keeping up with the latest market trends and spending time with our customers.
In this issue we’ll also look at virtual sales kick-offs; how to make them engaging and valuable to your team, whilst saving on costs.
And there’s also great, insider tips on a restaurant in Budapest, an historical hotel in Brussels, and this month our spotlight shines on the cosmopolitan capital city of Sweden, Stockholm.
If you still need more advice, don’t worry: we’re here to help. Call for a chat on 0208 995 9495, or

How engaging is your Virtual Sales Kick-Off?
|
 |
Face to face meetings and events are essential to day to day business. We would say that, obviously, but when 90% of
|
|
|
communication is non-verbal, via facial expressions, gestures and emotion, it stands to reason that a meeting room full of people
will create more energy and engagement than one person and a device on
their own. So when virtual meetings are unavoidable, how do you ensure
that it’s full of energy and that your sales team remains fully engaged
and can continue to benefit from the meeting throughout the course of
the year?
We have a few suggestions… |

Metropole Hotel, Brussels |
Just 20 minutes from Brussels Airport, and reachable by direct Eurostar trains, the Hotel Metropole is one of Brussels’ most historical and impressive buildings, and encompasses the diverse beauty of the city’s artistic heritage. As the location of the world’s first ever Solvay Conference in 1911, the hotel has seen the likes of Einstein, Marie Curie, and Hendrik Lorentz grace its corridors, and has remained a significant venue for corporate meetings and events.
