What is your job title?
Senior Event Executive.
How long have you worked at Outsourced Events?
Eleven months.
What is one thing you cannot live without?
Coffee.
Where is the best place you have travelled to and why?
Australia because I have extended family there and I love to see them. (Weather, surroundings and lifestyle are awesome too!)
If you could learn to do anything what would it be?
I’d love to be able to play the saxophone or guitar – so to read music probably!
When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?
I love riding my bike (In reality, tidying up after my toddler!)
What is your favourite thing about working at Outsourced Events?
I love the travel (particularly to London since I’m a country gal!) & the opportunities to be creative.
If you could invite four people to dinner (living or dead) who would you invite and why?
  • Heston Blumenthal – I think theatre in food is so much fun, gets the conversation started and blows everyone away – you know Heston will bring it!
  • Fred Sirieix – I just think he’s great, plus you know he’ll pick a good bottle(s) of wine!
  • Julie Walters – for the stories and the double act with Victoria Wood!
  • Victoria Wood – fellow northerner to bring comedy and bounce off Julie!
What was your childhood ambition?
To be a pilot.
What is your most memorable day at Outsourced Events?
Day 1 – after being on maternity leave for nine months starting a new job gave me a mix of emotions all at once, but I finished the day feeling on top of the world!
If you could do any job, regardless of skills and training, what would it be?
Either a vet or a pilot. (Realise that childhood ambition!)
What are the top three items on your bucket list?
  • See the Northern Lights.
  • Travel the world.
  • Own a Range Rover.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
Work from home.
If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?
The football game in no-man's land on Christmas Day 1914.
