Outsourced Events wins Conference of the Year at the C&IT Awards 2026
Outsourced Events has won Conference of the Year (Medium) at the C&IT Awards 2026 for our work on the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) Annual Scientific Meeting 2026. On the same night, the BMFMS Annual Conference 2026 was Highly Commended for Conference of the Year (Small), and our CEO and Co-Founder Denise Sharpe was shortlisted for The Luminary Award. The winners were announced at The Peninsula, London, on 23 October 2026.
Conference of the Year (Medium): BSGE Annual Scientific Meeting 2026
The BSGE Annual Scientific Meeting brings together the very best in gynaecological endoscopy to share knowledge, showcase innovation and advance the specialty. Since our partnership with BSGE began in 2023, the meeting has more than doubled in size, and in 2026 it became the largest in the Society’s history, at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster.
This year, we introduced a new Innovation Zone, showcasing emerging surgical technology, and a Speakers’ Corner, giving poster presenters their own stage. We also refreshed the sponsorship programme, helping grow the number of sponsors and exhibitors from 30 to 49 over three years. The result: 98% of delegates said they would recommend the conference to a colleague.

Shortlisted for The Luminary Award: Denise Sharpe
Denise Sharpe, OE CEO and Co-Founder, was shortlisted for The Luminary Award, one of the C&IT Awards’ individual honours. Since co-founding Outsourced Events in 2001, she has worked with Alexandra SIbley to build a two-person start-up into a 50-strong, award-winning agency and championed the next generation of event professionals at every step, from designing our Event Executive training programme to mentoring emerging leaders across the industry.
Recognised by our peers
The C&IT Awards are one of the UK events industry’s most established benchmarks, and every entry is judged by a panel of industry experts drawn from corporates, associations and agencies. That makes this recognition from our peers across the industry, and it means a great deal to the whole team.
It’s another highlight in an incredible 25th year of award wins and nominations, recognised by industry judges and by our own team.
A huge thank you to BSGE and BMFMS for continuing to put their trust in us. It’s a real privilege to work in partnership with such passionate and dedicated organisations. And the biggest thank you goes to our team, who go above and beyond on every event.
