Our biggest year for awards yet: Ten shortlisting’s in two weeks
In our 25th year, we set out to mark the milestone properly. What we didn't expect was quite this many people to agree we've earned it.
In the space of two weeks, Outsourced Events has picked up ten shortlisting’s across two of the industry's leading awards programmes: the UK Agency Awards and the Association Excellence Awards. Between them, they recognise the agency, our leadership and importantly, stand-out events with two long term clients: the British Maternal & Fetal Medicine Society (BMFMS) and the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE).
Thank you to the organisers of both awards for the recognition and to every client who's trusted us with their events this year. Ten shortlisting’s don't happen without them.
Recognition for the Outsourced Events team
Events Agency of the Year - UK Agency Awards (new category for 2026)
A brand-new category for 2026 and a shortlisting that recognises the agency as a whole, not one event or one team, but the standard we've tried to hold ourselves to across every client, every show, for 25 years.
Best Large Agency of the Year - UK Agency Awards
Judged against the UK's largest and most established event agencies, this nomination measures scale alongside quality, proof that growth hasn't come at the expense of the standard our clients expect.
Agency Leader of the Year - UK Agency Awards (new category for 2026)
A personal nomination for our CEO and Co-Founder, Denise Sharpe, in a category new to the UK Agency Awards this year. Twenty-five years after starting Outsourced Events from a small office in Chiswick, this one recognises the leadership that's carried the business and its people, this far.
Association Agency or Supplier of the Year - Association Excellence Awards
Recognition specifically for our work in the association sector, where long-term partnership matters as much as delivery on the day. This nomination reflects years of relationships built with associations like BMFMS and BSGE, not a single event.
Recognition for our events
British Maternal & Fetal Medicine Society (BMFMS)
The BMFMS Annual Conference 2026 has been shortlisted three times over: Best Event at the UK Agency Awards and both Best Development of an Existing Association Event and Best Medical Association Event at the Association Excellence Awards. We've been BMFMS's PCO since 2023 and this year's conference builds on real, measurable growth for the Society - 113% growth in sponsorship income, membership up more than 20% in a single month and 494 delegates through the door. Thank you to BMFMS for the trust and the partnership that made all three nominations possible.
British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE)
The BSGE Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 has also been shortlisted three times: Best Event at the UK Agency Awards and both Best Development of an Existing Association Event and Best Medical Association Event at the Association Excellence Awards. We've been BSGE's first-ever external PCO since 2023 and the partnership has driven four consecutive years of growth: total event income up 110% to over £1m, delegate numbers up from 480 to over 1,000 and sponsors and exhibitors up from 30 to 49. Delegate satisfaction has kept pace with that growth - 98% of respondents said they'd recommend the conference to a colleague. BSGE's conference serves a genuinely specialist clinical audience, where getting the detail right matters as much as the delivery itself. Thank you to BSGE for a partnership that continues to raise the bar each year.
A fitting way to mark 25 years
Ten shortlisting’s, two clients and their events recognised alongside us and a brand-new category nomination for the person who started this business a quarter of a century ago - this is shaping up to be one of the biggest awards years in Outsourced Events' history and it's landed in exactly the year it means the most.
