Outsourced Events worked with BSGE at their 2025 ASM and delivered exceptional delegate experience with 95% recommendation rate.
Objective
When the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) entrusted Outsourced Events (OE) with delivering its Annual Scientific Meeting for the first time in 2023, it marked a major moment for the society - outsourcing the flagship event in its 34-year history to an external agency. That first collaboration in Manchester set an exceptionally high benchmark: delegates described it as the best ASM the BSGE had ever held.
Building on this milestone, our 2024 Belfast ASM not only surpassed expectations but went on to win the prestigious C&IT Award for 'Pharma & Healthcare Event of the Year'- wonderful recognition of the exceptional work delivered across our first two years working together. With this momentum behind us, we approached the 2025 ASM in Leeds with a clear ambition: to continue growing, evolving and elevating the experience for every BSGE member.

Clinicians in healthcare are under immense pressure and stepping away from clinical duties for professional development is increasingly difficult. At the same time, more early-career surgeons are specialising in endoscopic surgery and actively seeking opportunities to learn hands-on skills, watch expert techniques in real time and connect with colleagues. We knew the ASM needed to offer genuine value for clinicians who were giving up precious time to be with us.
The solution
To meet this, we focused on creating practical, engaging experiences they simply couldn’t get elsewhere. We expanded hands-on training with cadaveric sessions, live-streamed complex surgery directly from hospital theatres and introduced a friendly suturing competition to encourage skill-building in a supportive, collaborative way.
The experience
A two-day, multi-stream scientific programme featuring more than 60 internationally renowned speakers, an exhibition with more than 30 suppliers represented, 11 pre-congress workshops and four social events - including a gala dinner - designed to strengthen connections, encourage conversation and help clinicians feel part of a vibrant, growing community.
Following the success of the Belfast event, the Outsourced Events team is already working on planning and delivering the BSGE Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 in London, bringing proven expertise and collaborative approach to create another exceptional experience for delegates.
