In 2022 IBIS Instruments approached our marketing services division, Outsourced Engagement to create and manage a LinkedIn digital marketing campaign to support its range of 5G products.
Outsourced Engagement planned and delivered a successful, cost-effective digital marketing campaign for IBIS instruments, which achieved all its objectives.
We used a two-phase approach to engage on LinkedIn with senior telecommunications engineers and technicians in IBIS Instruments’ key markets: Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Slovenia.
To reach the target audience of decision-makers and senior managers we set our Phase 1 targeting parameters as: location, industries and experience. When we reviewed campaign performance we found that the campaign was reaching a lot of people but that the leads were coming in more slowly than we’d like.
Acting on the results of our review, we adjusted the targeting parameters for Phase 2. We found that job seniority mixed with job functions was our ‘sweet spot’. We amplified reach by adding additional parameters.
The digital ads used a carousel of simple, clear images that effectively highlighted the 5G range of products, with a strong call to action on the final image – ‘Get in Touch’.
By fine-tuning the campaign as it was live, we greatly increased its reach. It generated a substantial number of valuable leads – the same level as at a tradeshow but at a fraction of the cost.
- The number of leads generated was 70% higher than the target
- CPM and CPC were both substantially under budget
- The CTR was more than double the target
