Large Dedicated Life Sciences Event
Now in its third year the Veeva Systems European Commercial Summit is one of the largest dedicated life sciences events for commercial and medical affairs professionals in Europe. The Summit is a three-day, free-to attend conference and includes strong sponsor participation and a Partner Forum. In December 2016, more than 700 life sciences professionals and Veeva experts met at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel to hear what was new in the industry, experience the latest technology trends to improve commercial effectiveness, share best practices and participate in peer-to-peer networking.
End to End Event Management
Outsourced Events was appointed to provide full event management services for the event which included registration services, email communications, delegate management, event logistics including AV and production, sponsor management, event consultancy and reporting and financial management.
The format of the event meant that the team were on site for four days to assist with customer meetings on build day as well as the Partner Forum on day one, and the main conference on days two & three.
The team used scanned all delegates into sessions and ensured that the flow of people around the venue benefited the sponsors
To create a real buzz, Outsourced Events was also responsible for finding a team of graphic illustrators to create a visual representation of the Veeva timeline within the Partner Pavilion. OE also organised the gala evening at the nearby Palacio del Negralejo, an historic palace that offered traditional Spanish cuisine. The evening also included sherry tasting, Flamenco dancers and traditional Spanish music as well as the ever popular photo booth.
