Outsourced Events has been working with EMC, a global leader in enabling businesses and service providers to transform their operations and deliver IT as a service, for more than four years. During that time, we’ve established a strong relationship with the corporation’s marketing team. EMC have their own e-Comms team in-house, but the added workload created by the Forum project generated another 600 emails to build and execute. It is for this reason that they turned to Outsourced Events as a trusted supplier to provide invaluable support.
The project required OE to act as the linchpin for the EMC Forums email marketing campaign – liaising directly with over 20 Field Marketing Managers in as many countries and the internal EMC communications team to ensure that all information was correct and the designs delivered were brand compliant from both a sponsor and EMC perspective. Close communications and timeline management were key to the success of the project and OE’s service ensured that the email schedule across all locations remained on track. OE were also required to create more than 1000 registration tracking codes which were then used to identify what had generated the delegate registrations. Local e-comms toolkits were also built by OE for sponsors to use in order to promote their presence at the events.
From concept to delivery, the team at OE ensured that the quality, branding and message were consistent; building 160+ emails and supporting the client to deliver a further 450+ emails to deadline. The client was delighted with the service as it allowed them to concentrate on their planned e-Communications.
