We all love to feel special. Isn’t it a great feeling to walk into your favourite restaurant and the waiter remembers what you like? How about when you receive that extra something on your birthday from an online store? Essentially it’s that personal touch that helps to build that important relationship. Whether the relationship is with your employees and drives loyalty and hard work or with a client and encourages them to spend more time and money, the results are the same in that adding a personal touch develops business.
We’ve seen this in action recently which has produced the most amazing results. It was an event hosted by EMC at the Lotus F1 facility in Enstone, Oxfordshire. Following a nomination process via their Europe West Country Sales Teams, a list of forty CIO executives were personally invited to a two day event at the facility. It included flights, transfers and accommodation, relevant workshops and presentations as well as a tour of the F1 site and dinner in the evening. Where the event really stood out, was that each guest received a personal VIP concierge service from the team at Outsourced Events. From the moment they registered to the moment they boarded the plane back home, each guest felt special, and as everything was taken care of, they could focus 100% on the workshops and their hosts. As a result, over 180 projects were either identified for follow up or were already in discussion and another event following the same format has been booked for later in the year. You can read the case study here.
Having discussed the VIP Concierge service with our other clients and the amazing results it has achieved, we’re really happy to be organising other exciting events later in the year. In fact, one client is hosting an internal event for their top global execs to St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and OE will be taking care of all the finer details that make the event so special and very personal.
