It’s amazing how fast this month has flown! We’ve been busy with the RSA Security Summits, as well as supporting Trend Micro on their stand at Infosec in London and everything is beginning to ramp up for the start of the EMEA EMC Forums in September too.
With the experience of exhibiting at a trade show very fresh, my thoughts turned towards sustainability and some ideas to help you create a “greener” event. I’ve also picked the brains of our MD Denise Sharpe about the differences US companies need to consider when marketing into EMEA.
Having spent some time in Munich this month, our team reviewed a traditional Bavarian restaurant, as well as a fabulous venue in Rome and our location of the month is Lyon in France.
If you still need more advice, don’t worry: we’re here to help. Call for a chat on 0208 995 9495, or

Does your event need the “green” light? |
 |
With the ever increasing pressures on our environment from a growing global population, sustainability is becoming part of the mission statement of many companies. Events, as we all know, have always had a tendency to create a lot of waste and generally be environmentally “unfriendly”. Spatenhaus an der Oper Munich, Germany
|
The team highly recommend this restaurant. Situated opposite the Opera House and serving traditional Bavarian cuisine, Spatenhaus an der Oper represents Bavarian hospitality at its best. The atmosphere is wonderful and it’s always busy, so we suggest you book.

Complesso Monumetale Santo Spirito in Sassia Rome, Italy |
Founded in AD727 as a refuge for pilgrims, the building was rebuilt in the 1400’s as a hospital to help the poor, the sick and the foundlings. With magnificent frescos adorning the walls and amazing galleries and halls, the venue is breath-taking, yet still remains versatile.
