Citrix Partner Accelerator 2016 Channel Engagement

Project: CPA 2016
Location: Northern Europe
Dates: 25-02-2016 — 15-03-2016

CPA 2016

Citrix Partner Accelerator has been running in the UK since 2003 & in the Nordics since 2014. The events held in five locations across Northern Europe,  attracted over 958 attendees from across the Citrix Channel Community in order to hear the latest news and learn about the latest solutions from Citrix Systems and their alliance partners.

Theme for CPA 2016: Ideas, Relationships, Your Business – Work Better, Live Better

Citrix measures the value of technology by how it benefits people. It’s about what they need to do and h they need to achieve. This vision inspires Citrix to build mobile workspace solutions that give people new ways to work better with seamless and secure access to the apps, files and services they need on any device, wherever they go. The key areas of focus for the event series was to discover the tools and programs Citrix has been working on to help create new selling opportunities for their partners and boost profitability; as well as to get up to speed with Citrix strategy and learn from Citrix technical experts. They also focused on finding out how to drive lead creation, sales – and profit.

Promoting channel engagement

A comprehensive local language marketing campaign was instigated via direct mail and e-Comms, listing the top 5 reasons to attend, advertising the Grand Prize Draw, and “last chance” reminders to register. The campaign also included reminders sent via SMS and pre-event telemarketing to reduce no shows on the day. During each keynote session, awards were presented for fastest growing CSA Partner, Most influencing CSA Partner and for the most validated CAR submissions. To encourage delegates to visit the sponsor booths, raffle tickets were available from the exhibitors for entry into the prize draw. To maintain brand consistency, the stage set design, production and lighting was the same in each location and whilst looking slick was very cost effective.

The OE team took care of everything from venue finding, marketing, event website creation and event communications through to production & AV, registration services, signage and post event reporting. The team also took care of sponsorship sales and sponsor liaison and management. The range of services offered by OE meant that the Citrix team had to deal with only one agency who could deliver the event from start to finish, generate external income and bring the series in on budget.
